Students typically join at age 11–12 for Collège (6ème), or at 14–15 for the Foundation Year or IB Year 1. Our Summer Camp welcomes students from age 9.

Mid-year entry is considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to available places and the student’s academic profile.

Most students complete a language and academic assessment as part of the admissions process. This helps us understand each student’s profile and ensure the right academic pathway and support.

École des Roches is a full boarding school. Residential life is central to our educational philosophy and all students in the academic year programmes live on campus.

Every student is supported by tutors, houseparents, and academic staff who monitor wellbeing, personal development, and academic progress throughout the year.

Annual fees for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme are €47,520 for 5-day boarding and €57,420 for 7-day boarding. A one-time registration fee of €5,900 applies for first-year students.

The Foundation Year is recommended for students who would benefit from additional academic preparation, English-language development, or integration into the IB learning environment before beginning the full Diploma Programme.

Students should have a strong working level of English in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in order to fully participate in the academic demands of the IB Diploma Programme.

Students choose subjects based on their strengths, interests, and future university goals. Our academic team works closely with students and families to build balanced programmes that support future pathways.
