At École des Roches, our artistic and cultural activities inspire, educate and entertain. Culture is a vehicle for passion and diversity, allowing students to explore their artistic potential while celebrating the richness of our community.
A rich cultural offering throughout the year
Throughout the year, our students benefit from a variety of artistic and cultural activities, enabling them to discover new passions and develop their talents. Theatre, music, visual arts and cookery are all experiences that nurture their creativity and enrich their personal development in an inspiring and caring environment.
Theatre
Students explore writing, directing and acting, developing a real mastery of theatre while sharing their creations with the school community.
Music
Students with a passion for music can take piano, guitar or drum lessons at all levels. The more advanced students can join the ‘Studio’, a group creative space to stimulate their creativity.
Cookery lessons
Cooking classes offer an educational and sensory experience, where students develop their skills while exploring flavours and recipes from around the world.
Plastic arts
The plastic arts workshops offer students a space for free expression, where they explore various artistic techniques in a setting that encourages creativity.
In-house cultural events
Three major events mark the year at École des Roches: the Eloquence Cup, Cabaroches and the Fête de la Culture, illustrating the importance attached to creativity, diversity and cultural openness.
The Cup of Eloquence
The Eloquence Cup embodies the art of convincing and captivating an audience. Prepared throughout the year, students take to the stage to defend a topic of their choice with eloquence and passion. This unique event develops their confidence, charisma and ability to structure powerful arguments. Under the watchful eyes of a panel of judges and an attentive audience, each performance reflects the values of surpassing oneself and excellence that are hallmarks of the École des Roches.
Cabaroches
Cabaroches is an artistic evening where students share their talents with the school community. Whether they take to the stage to sing, dance, play an instrument or present creative performances, this event celebrates the wealth of individual passions and creativity. It’s a moment of exchange, emotion and conviviality that reinforces group spirit and self-confidence.
Culture Days
Culture Days is an annual celebration of diversity at École des Roches. Students from over 100 nationalities share their traditions through culinary specialities, costumes and cultural presentations. This vibrant event is an opportunity to discover the riches of the world, while strengthening links between students and cultures.
