For more than 30 years, we have organised Summer Courses in French as a Foreign Language for young foreign people aged 8 to 18 years old, who come from all over the world to learn or improve their French.
Every Summers we are proud to welcome more than 700 students coming from more than 45 countries.

    On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday morning.
  • T.C.F
    (Test of Knowledge in French) recognized in all countries. It evaluates officially the level in French.
    L'Ecole des Roches, as a registered examination centre organizes a session during summer trainings. The students willing to take the TCF will be prepared for the exams in class

    Outings are arranged in class and supervised by teachers or House Masters

    * Trips : Rouen, Le Mans, le Mont Saint Michel.

    * For relaxation : leisure centres, Deauville, Disneyland Paris

    Tennis, swimming, aerobics, horseback riding (optional), socker, handball, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, aquagym,...
  • When ? With whom ?

    House Masters who are genuine sports lovers arrange matches and competitions every day, as well as international championships with presentation and ceremony.
  • Which surprise events ?
    Disco, barbecue, election of Miss and Mister Roches, Karaoke, Brains and Brawn game, mask making, dance, French cooking classes...
  • When ? With whom ? Every afternoon and every evening with House Masters and teaching staff


    • Discreet and effective
    round the clock supervision presence on the campus of 1 adult for every 8 children

  • Where ? How ?

    On site lodging in spacious Norman manor houses with two to seven beds a room supervised by House Masters. In each house the youngsters have a kitchen, a meeting place, a television room and a piano.
  • Meals
    Students have their meals at the school's restaurant. During the excursions : Pic-nic and fast-foods
