Languages : our competitive advantage
- As early as the 6 ème, the students have the chance to learn 2 languages
- The Ecole des Roches offers optional introductory courses in Chinese (Collège and Lycée).
- As far as English lessons are concerned, the students are allocated to a group according to their level : from beginners to bilingual students…
- As far as Spanish, German and Russian lessons are concerned, students are also allocated to a group according to their level and they may change group during the year depending on their current level.
- Options such as Italian, Arabic, Chinese and Hebrew can be chosen. It implies registration with the "Centre National d'Education à Distance" (CNED – correspondence course) or one-to-one courses with extra-charges.
- The Russian speakers have the opportunity to follow lessons on culture and civilisation along with a special preparation for the Baccalaureate Russian exam.
- The Chinese students ("Premières" and "Terminales") have the opportunity to follow a special preparation for the Baccalaureate Chinese exam.
- Linguistic exchanges are organised in England, Ireland, The United States, Spain, Germany, Australia, China, Russia and Ukraine.

Preparation for internationally recognised exams
- The issued diplomas are the following :
- English : Cambridge diploma (80% of success), TOEFL & SAT
- Spanish : Cervantès diploma
- German : Goethe Institute exam
The Ecole des Roches gives the students the opportunity to use a leading-edge language laboratory and two multimedia centres (access to the internet and to pedagogical CD ROMs).
Assistants help the students to use these innovative learning resources.
